Manage pharmacy credit sales and Mobile Money
In a Ghanaian pharmacy, the drawer holds cash, the phone holds MoMo, and the notebook holds who owes what. Software that only understands cash leaves two-thirds of your money outside the system. PharmHive treats all three as what they are: your revenue.
Common questions
How does PharmHive handle customers who buy on credit?
Credit is a first-class sale, not a workaround. The sale goes on the customer's account at the till, the debt is tracked by name against that specific receipt, and the owner dashboard shows the total your debtors owe you every day.
How are repayments recorded?
Against specific sales. When a customer pays down their balance, the payment is applied to the receipt it settles, and the system validates it: it rejects overpayments beyond what's outstanding and payments against receipts that are already settled, so balances always add up.
Can the system record MoMo payments separately from cash?
Yes. Every sale records its payment method - cash, mobile money, or credit - so the day's takings are split correctly from the moment each sale happens, not reconstructed from memory at closing time.
How do I reconcile the MoMo float against the system?
Each shift closure records cash sales, mobile money sales, and card sales separately. Expected cash is checked against the physical count, and the MoMo total is one number to compare against the wallet on the phone.
Who is allowed to collect credit repayments?
Collecting a repayment is till work, so it needs the same permission as making a sale - and every repayment is recorded with the staff member who received it, in an audit trail that can't be edited.
Do credit sales and repayments work offline?
Yes. Credit sales, customer balances, and repayments all work in the offline desktop app and sync when the connection returns, so a network outage never means falling back to the notebook.
